They are simple assemblies created and destroyed on the fly as you add Trim geometry consisting of multiple meshes. The Schematic-free system utilizes Compound Trims.
You can set this in Preferences > Defaults > Application > Content Location. The content location can now be controlled by the config system, making it easier to change where the content is located.
Close Curve by Clicking on First Control Point - Right-clicking on the first control point while creating a new curve closes it into a loop.
